Michal Bailey began playing Detroit's West side clubs in 1985 at the age of fifteen.Somewhere in the early 1990's Michal began fronting his bands and The Michal Bailey Band was born.Touring Michigan and Ohio,throughout the years,as well as 17 years of regular performances at the now notorious,"Nancy'Whiskey's",in downtown Detroit,earned him a reputation as one of Detroit's Premier Guitar Players.With the recent sell out of the criticly acclaimed "Devil's Ride" c.d. ( see reviews on this site),2007 brings a re-release of this already a "classic" ,Detroit recording,as well as A U.S tour Kicking off in January,2008. Also slated for later in 2008 are two studio albums(one acoustic record) and a live album recorded at Memphis Smoke in Royal Oak,Michigan, earlier this year.In addition to all this,the band continues to play around 200 shows per year.With some of Michigans finest musicians (Billy Reyna(Son Seals,Bill Perry) on the drums,and Michael "Geno" Leverate(Lady Sunshine)on the bass)Michal's band is fully loaded, consistantly delivering first rate performances and gaining new fans night after night..Be sure and check the schedule and come on out,the Outlaw is coming to a town near you!!
